I could not love this more, especially: "When one has a passion, it’s easy to find purpose. When one has a purpose, life becomes meaningful."

Boy oh boy did I enjoy this! I'm so happy for you and your son! You all are living life the way it's meant to be lived!

Thanks! When I used to live near one of the "big cities" where all the elite and ultra-hyper competitive parents lived, a common question was "So what does your son do all day? What does he learn?" My answer was always "we just live life!"

From a “retired” homeschooling mother of two…bravo! Guess what, they grow up, they go to college and in my case they get masters degrees, while never having set foot in a public school. They are sought after by higher institutions that want them to attend their universities. I would encourage you to add John Taylor Gatto to your reading list. Keep paddling homeschool mom! Hazzaah!

Love this LB!! My eyes have really been opened in recent years to the fact that yes, traditional schooling is all about creating future worker bees. Processed food in the cafeterias, limited or no recess, lack of movement, lack of sunshine, and the conveyor belt (love that phrase!!) schedule is a disaster for our youth (and our adults). I give you so much credit for against the grain and creating an entirely different lifestyle and learning environment for your son. I don't have children, but if I became a parent in today's world, I would most definitely want to follow your lead. <3
